transport coordination, communication, verification of loading and unloading details, document support and assistance in organizing customs clearance.
In accordance with the Customs Code of the Republic of Moldova and international conventions, the main documents are: the CMR consignment note, the commercial invoice, the packing list, the EUR.1 certificate of origin, and the export/import customs declaration (EX1, T1, MRN). These documents confirm the legality of the transport and allow the vehicle to cross the border.
Generally, Incargo prepares the invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, and export declaration, while the importer handles customs clearance upon arrival and pays the duties. Our customs brokers can provide comprehensive assistance to both parties.
The EUR.1 certificate certifies the European origin of goods and allows for reduced or zero customs duties under trade agreements (e.g., EU–Republic of Moldova). It is essential for reducing costs and simplifying procedures.
According to Customs Code No. 95/2021, missing or incorrect documentation can result in the truck being detained at customs, delays lasting hours or days, fines, and even the confiscation of the goods. Therefore, it is mandatory to verify and complete the documents correctly.
Depending on the nature of the goods, the following may be required: a phytosanitary certificate (agricultural products), a veterinary certificate (products of animal origin), an ADR declaration (dangerous goods), or a certificate of conformity (industrial products).
